ECOTECH process inorganic solids such as wastewater sludge and waste solid containing heavy metal, as well as organic sludge such as ink / dye / paint / adhesive sludge, for treatment before disposal in an accredited industrial landfill to ensure that the heavy metal ions do not leach out into the groundwater and create environmental and public health issues. This method uses a proprietary immobilizing reagent at a certain dosage ratio to sequester the heavy metal ions and permanently bind them into non-leachable sludge. The mixture is left to cure for a short period of time before it is repackaged. If practicable, the resulting immobilized waste can also be fed into the Thermal Decomposition machine to minimize solid waste generation.
